Abina Ibrahim Monastery

It’s located in the yard of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. It was established by Queen Helen. The Persians destroyed it when they invaded the city. It remained ruined until the Russians took it from the Ottomans, where they built on one of its parts a monastery for them, and gave the other part to the Roman Orthodox. On this part, they built what is now known as Abina Ibrahim Monastery.
