Abu Obaida Amer bin Al-Jarrah

He was dubbed “the Nation’s Caretaker”, and is one of the Ten Most Promised of Paradise. He ruled the Levant and led several battles, most notably Al-Yarmouk, Fahl, and Biesan. He led the Muslim armies in the siege over Jerusalem and fought its garrison at its gates. He attended Al-Omari Conquest, and heard the azan of Bilal bin Rabah ringing out in Jerusalem after the conquest. He died in Fahl and was buried there.
