Bateer Village

Location: Located southwest of Jerusalem, 8 km away.
Area: The land area (8028) dunums.
Surrounding villages: Surrounded by the villages of Walaja, Beit Jala, Husan.
The most important characteristic: one of the oldest villages in Palestine, which was inhabited since ancient times.
Occupation Year: Occupation occupied part of it in 1948 and occupied in 1967 .
Its most famous families are: Qatush, Berbuk, Khadr and Shami.
