The Church of Saint Thomas

This church belongs to the Syriac Catholic group. It was built by the Crusaders on the ruins of an old mosque. Saladin turned it into a mosque after the liberation of the city. In the 19th century, the mosque was destroyed and a church has been built in its place, with the help of Germans.
