An-Nabi Dawood Gate

It is in the Southern Wall of the city. It’s a big gate that leads to a yard within the wall. The gate is also called “Bab Sohyoun” (Zion Gate), because it leads to Mount Zion that the An-Nabi Dawood Islamic Quarter is held on. The word “Zion” is a Canaanite word that means “high”.
